About
About Tamara
I’m a proud New Jersey native, where I spent my formative years and happy North Carolina resident where I’ve resided for 19 years.
After graduating from high school, I joined the United States Navy. My time in the military taught me the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. After my service, I attended Community College and an IT Technical School, where I obtained my A+, networking and Microsoft certifications. I quickly transitioned into the corporate world, where I quickly discovered a pure passion for technology and problem-solving.
Growing up in a diverse community significantly shaped my perspective and instilled in me a deep appreciation for different cultures. It was in Newark that I met my husband, a Marine. We’ve been happily married for over two decades. Together, we’ve raised three wonderful children, who are now young adults. Two of them are pursuing graduate degrees, while the youngest is an undergraduate majoring in Psychology.
My journey in NC has led me down a rewarding path. I’ve had the privilege of working for several Fortune 100 companies, where I’ve contributed to a variety of projects, including web/content management system migrations and digital platform support. Through these experiences, I’ve honed my interpersonal skills and gained valuable insights into the corporate world. Beyond my professional endeavors, I find great joy in exploring new cultures through travel. I’ve had the opportunity to visit many countries, experiencing their unique customs, traditions, and cuisines. These adventures have indeed broadened my horizons and enriched my life immensely.
I’m a foodie! I enjoy indulging in delicious authentic food, and different cuisines. My greatest delight however is spending quality time with my family. I’m also passionate about personal growth and development. I love to read, stay up-to-date with technology, learn new things, study the Bible and apply it’s principles to my life. My husband and I find great satisfaction serving in our ministry, staying active together, frequently work out, going for brisk walks, e-bike riding, boxing at 9Rounds workout studio and experimenting with gardening techniques.
In conclusion, I’m grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have brought me to this point in my life. I’m excited to see what the future holds and continue to make the most of every moment.
My Mantra
Excellence
Excellence is the pursuit of perfection, even when we know it’s unattainable. I’ve learned through trial and error that when you keep on striving, you’re perpetually moving at all times.
Excellence is what I strive for; but perfection is God’s business. – Michael J. Fox
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.
